One of the biggest strengths we have as a Partnership is the potential for sharing knowledge, skills and best practice across the board. We have already taken steps to develop our internal communications with the introduction of a members’ area on the SYSRP website - a forum where information and resources can be shared between staff from different constituent organisations. Moving forward, we will also seize opportunities to:

• Develop the members’ area of the website so that it becomes the ‘go to’ place for the road safety practitioners’ toolkit
• Enhance the regular email bulletin, which replaced the monthly Countywide Road Safety Update, to provide opportunities for practitioners and Partnership members to share news, updates and knowledge which would otherwise not be shared
• Distribute more succinct and useful information for practitioners and Partnership members as it becomes available to assist in the design, delivery and evaluation of our road safety interventions
• Maintain and develop relationships with constituent partner’s communications teams, to share best practice and opportunities to market across different networks
